To help combat human trafficking, the State has issued the Human Trafficking Hotline Poster, and mandated it’s display in certain places of business under Act 245. This notice must be displayed in a conspicuous location where it can be viewed by all employees.
The following types of businesses are required to display the Hawaii Human Trafficking Hotline Poster under Act 245:
- Any entity issued a class 5 or class 11 liquor license
- Hospital emergency rooms
- Massage therapy establishments
- Farm operations employing five or more persons
