New York Building Service Industry Wage Poster

Employers in the building service industry must display the New York Building Services Industry Wage Order in a conspicuous location where it can be viewed by all employees.

The building service industry includes any person, corporation or establishment engaged in whole or in part in renting, servicing, cleaning, maintaining, selling, or managing buildings or building space, and all occupations, operations and services in connection therewith or incidental thereto. The industry includes, but is not limited to, real estate owners, building owners, operators, lessors, managing agents and independent contractors.

The notice includes:

• Minimum wage rates for large and small employers in New York City
• Minimum wage rates for Long Island and Westchester Counties
• Minimum wage rates for the rest of New York State
• Information on credits, allowances and extra pay including overtime
