Nail salon owners must display the New York Salon Notice in a conspicuous location where it can be viewed by all employees. The Worker Bill of Rights P718 states the following:
- Minimum wage rates for large and small employers in New York City
- Minimum wage rates for Long Island and Westchester Counties
- Minimum wage rates for the rest of New York State
- Information on credits, allowances and extra pay including overtime
Employers in the retail industry and who are located in the City of New York, must display the Retail Fair Workweek notice in a conspicuous location where it can be viewed by employees. The notice must be displayed in a language considered to be a primary language of at least 5% of the workforce if available on the DCA website.
